App for work/cost sharing meal prep system
About
An app designed specifically for the students at Strate Ecole de Design. The goal was to help them create a way to get to know each other while also creating a system that would promote collaboration for cooking lunch.
Strate: the name of the school. Dejourner: French for lunch.
How do we enhance the collaborative meal experience in this school cafeteria space?
language Start up
Strate is a very international school, with many exchange students from other countries, with varying levels of French language skills. Having two versions of the app in both French and English (a language that most foreign students speak) would make the app feel most inclusive.

Tasks
Here you would sign up to perform different tasks for the month: cooking, dishes, buying the food from the market, recipe submissions, etc.
Calendar
Using icons, the app would display all the meals that are scheduled to be cooked that month.
Based on information input earlier, the calendar blocks out dates where the meal includes ingredients to which the user has allergies. The user then selects two days to receive meals for every one meal they help to make.
Reminder
Remember to help today!
TOday's Task
When the user opens the reminder, it will take them to this page in the app, reminding them of what they signed up to help with for this lunch.
Time to eat!
Your lunch
Opening that reminder brings the user to a page showing a picture of their meal, the names of the people who made the food, and a chance to send them a thank you.
Thanks
Send them a picture of the food!
Food you made
Users can see their classmates eating the delicious food they helped create.
